Rescuers prevented the spreading of the fire to the adjacent rooms

On July 17, at 15:26 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a house on Azatamartikneri Street of Yerevan city. 

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in the hallway of the house (about 25 square meters), where there was a gas leak from a 3 kg gas cylinder. One of the residents was on the roof and unable to come down. The rescuers brought the resident down from the roof and moved to a safe area. They also removed the gas cylinder from the hallway and remained on standby until the cylinder was fully depressurized. 

The fire was localized at 15:41 and extinguished at 15:54. The hallway with its furniture was burned. Another resident was injured and hospitalized.
