On August 7, at 23:46 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in an apartment on Alek Manukyan Street of Yerevan city.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that fire had broken out an apartment on the 3rd floor.

The fire was localized on August 8, at 00:02 and extinguished at 00:14. Furniture and household items were burnt in the apartment’s kitchen.

The rescuers evacuated 22 residents from the building.

The rescuers prevented the further spread of the fire to the other rooms of the apartment.
