On December 5, at 10:47 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a citizen had tried to commit suicide by jumping off the Victory Bridge of Yerevan city.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department and the psychologist on duty of the Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The rescuers prevented the citizen’s suicide attempt, moved them to a safe area, and handed them over to the police and ambulance staff for supervision.
