On August 2, at 20:16 an emergency call was received to the Crisis Management National Center that a citizen had been attempting to commit suicide in Gyumri town of Shirak province. 

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide in the entrance of a building on Paruyr Sevak Street.

Rescuers prevented the citizen's suicide attempt.
