Rescuers of the RS MIA conducted rescue exercises in Nerkin Karmiraghbyur and Dovegh
The employees of the Civil and Population Protection Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted another special tactical training exercise in the enlarged communities of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur and Dovegh.
Two different scenarios were played out in schools:
• Firefighting and evacuation drill in case of a fire in the library at Nerkin Karmiraghbyur School;
• Rescue operations during the collapse at Dovegh school.
The main goal of the exercises was to develop and strengthen the practical skills of both school staff and rescue units in fire, collapse and other emergency situations through joint actions.
During the exercise, rescuers and school staff improved their evacuation, search and rescue, as well as first aid skills, involving around 139 participants: teachers, pupils and rescuers.
The exercises aim to identify existing issues and shortcomings in the organization of rescue operations, improve evacuation mechanisms, ensure the safety of children and employees, as well as raise awareness about security risks in the border zone.
