Rescuers of the RS Medical Care Provision Department were trained
From February 24 to March 7, a training was organized and conducted for the personnel of RS Medical Care Provision Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center and the Civil Defense Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. The training was titled "First Medical Aid in Various Pathological Situations and Handling of Human Remains".
The purpose of the training was to retrain Rescue Service employees for effective response during emergencies, ensuring their further professional development and targeted activities.
As part of the discussed topics, classroom-based and practical training sessions were organized, allowing participants to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice to enhance their skills. Specifically, during the sessions, participants performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), temporary bleeding control, casualties’ evacuation and self-aid in cases of various injuries.
At the end of the two-week training, a summary meeting was held attended by Tigran Petrosyan, Deputy Director of the Rescue Service. He expressed his gratitude to the Russian partners and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the rescue service specialists of the two countries.
In conclusion, academy lecturers awarded senior and junior medical personnel of the Medical Care Provision Department with certificates of qualification improvement and small commemorative gifts.
