On May 23, at 15:10 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that resident of Artsvaberd village has disappeared in the area called "Yeghnikasar": the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and the operative groups from Chinari Emergency Points of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Taush Preservation of Special Objects of Collective Center of Civil Defense Forces of Civil Protection Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of search and rescue operations, rescuers found the citizen unharmed in the "Ktsotskut" area of Berd town.

12 rescuers, 6 police officers and 2 residents of Berd town participated in the search and rescue operations.
