On April 19, at 12:20 an emergency call was received from a foreign citizen to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that he had been fallen in the forests of Dilijan and probably broken his leg. He was unable to move on his own and did not know his whereabouts: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of operational actions, the rescuers found the casualty, provided appropriate assistance, moved on a stretcher (about 5 m) to a rescue vehicle and then moved (about 4 km) to an ambulance. The latter was hospitalized at a medical center.
