On May 7, at 10:00 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred near Vedi settlement: a car had run off the roadway and ended up upside down in a drainage canal.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” car ran off the roadway and ended up upside down in a drainage canal.

Two casualties were hospitalized and two more casualties refused hospitalization.

The rescuers extracted the vehicle from the drainage canal with the help of a crane.
