On October 19, at 10:20 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that smoke had been visible from the window of a house on Sakharov Street in Vardenis town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene. 

The kitchen, hallway (about 25 square meters) with furniture and the wooden roof (about 40 square meters) of the house were burnt.

The fire was localized at 11:07 and extinguished at 14:22.
