On September 12, at 13:16 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that a harvested wheat field had been on fire near Bnunis village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched at the scene.

The fire was localized at 14:28 and extinguished at 14:48. About 5 ha of mowed alfalfa field and about 10 ha of grassland were burnt.

The residents of the village also participated in the firefighting activities.
