On July 30, at 17:18 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that smoke had been noticed in Dzoraghbyur village of Kotayk province.

Six fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, group on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities and the operative group from Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that fire broke out in a vegetated area.

The fire was localized at 20:11 and extinguished at 22:33. About 8 ha of vegetated area was burnt.

The rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the residential area.
