On January 23, at 11:24 information was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that there had been a risk of a tree falling on Stepanavan Street in Gegharkunik village: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of Regional Recue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers alongside the employees of the community administration with special equipment cut the damaged poplar type tree (30 meters long).
