The employees of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Avan and Ajapnyak administrative regions conducted awareness-raising activities regarding the rules of conduct during disasters and emergency situations, in particular, regarding the observance of fire rules in grassland, the rules of conduct in case of an earthquake, as well as in the event of air-raid warning.

According to Nver Margaryan, Deputy Head of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA, "The awareness activities in all administrative districts of Yerevan are permanent. We are currently implementing in Avan administrative district, as well as in Erebuni, Nubarashen administrative district, Kanaker Zeytu, Nork Marash administrative districts have been completed: Avan, Arabkir, Davtashen, Ajapnyak administrative districts are in progress".

Awareness activities were carried out in different formats, in particular, in yard meetings, during which the rescuers answered the citizens' questions.

Awareness activities in the form of training were also conducted in schools, kindergartens.

Leaflets on disaster and emergency behavior were distributed to citizens.
