Rescuers came to the aid of a hiker who was injured at the foothill of Mount Azhdahak

On July 24, at 17:38 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a hiking group consisting of 11 citizens had been at the foothill of Mount Azhdahak in Kotayk Province. One of the hikers broke their leg and needs assistance.

The rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The head of the Azhdahak base camp assisted in the search and rescue activities.

The rescuers and medical personnel found the citizen on the eastern slope of Mount Azhdahak with a lower leg injury. The emergency doctor provided the necessary first aid on the spot.

The rescuers transported the injured person approximately 500 meters on a stretcher to the rescue vehicle, and then escorted them to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized.
