On August 5, at 13:26 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that at one of the beaches of Lake Sevan, citizens had drifted away from the shore on a water mattress and had been unable to return: rescue assistance is needed.

The rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers brought 6 citizens from a distance of about 2 km to the shore.
