On April 30, at 11:01 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that a citizen had climbed over the railing of the Kievyan Bridge and had been attempting to jump down.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the psychologist on duty from Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers alongside police officers prevented a citizen's suicide attempt: the latter was transferred to Mashtots Police Division.
