On February 20, at 15։15 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Lanjik-Mastara roawdway: more than a dozen cars collided.

One fire unit and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad, as well as the operative group from Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It was found that about 20 vehicles collided at the 82nd km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway, as a result it was one-way closed.

Ambulance personal provided appropriate medical assistance to 5 casualties.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.

The rescuers alongside patrol service and the employees of RCM pulled the crashed vehicles out of the roadway and loaded them to a tow truck. The traffic flow was restored.
