The Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA Aram Ghazaryan visited Yerevan Rescue Department on February 20 to get acquainted with the process of organizing the service, the training and operational response capabilities of the staff.

The Director of Service accompanied by the Deputy Directors, toured the territory of the department, got acquainted with the working conditions and also visited the 3rd Fire and Rescue Squad.

The Head of Yerevan Rescue Department Gevorg Galstyan presented the technical means of the department to the RS Director, as well as the issues encountered during the service.

The 4th Fire аnd Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department were re-equipped with vehicles. Aram Ghazaryan got acquainted with the technical characteristics and capabilities of the vehicles, emphasizing the operation of modern vehicles will contribute to increasing the operational capabilities and response efficiency of the Service.

Aram Ghazaryan, positively assessing the recorded indicators, also touched upon the conceptual approaches to the transformation of the Rescue Service, emphasizing the continuous development of the professional capabilities of the staff and the training processes.

Let us recall that within the framework of the investment program, fire and rescue and rapid response vehicles were purchased, for which about 640 million drams were spent from the state budget.
