Rescue Service summarizes the previous week

From August 25 to 31, 1035 cases were registered in the Crisis Management National Center of RS of MIA of RA, out of which 614 were emergent.

Particularly, 512 fire cases, 3 collapses, 2 accidents involving water transport, accidents in life support utility systems, search and rescue operations, accidents each, 1 hazardous resource and material detection, rock-fall, landslide, earthquake, ammunition detection each, 4 strong winds, 5 wild animal attacks, 12 poisonings, 16 suicide attempts, 56 snakes’ detection  cases, 68 road traffic accidents, as well as 203 household calls, 44 cases of fire threat, 42 fake calls on fire and 51 other cases.

18 cases of a stuck vehicle were registered due to weather conditions and other factors. The rescuers rendered assistance to 25 citizen and moved 18 vehicles stuck on the roadways onto a safe area.

There were 180 casualties and 19 victims during the past week. 8 people were rescued as a result of the rescue activities.
