Rescue Service personnel responded promptly to emergencies caused by strong winds

On June 11, the territorial units of the Rescue Service operated in emergency mode in the capital and a number of communities across the regions.

Starting from 19:00, 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA received multiple emergency calls regarding strong winds. Rescue service personnel were on-site within minutes to ensure the safety of citizens and eliminate the consequences of the strong winds.

The rescuers blocked off the affected areas, assessed the situation, and proceeded to carry out the necessary work. Using specialized equipment, they cut and removed fallen trees from roadways, restoring normal traffic conditions, and also dismantled torn roof coverings.

Thanks to their high level of professional preparedness, quick orientation, and coordinated efforts, the rescue service personnel responded promptly to all emergency incidents.
