Taking into account the weather conditions, particularly heavy snowfall, fog and black ice, which often lead to the stuck of vehicles on roadways  and hinder normal traffic flow, the units subordinate to the Rescue Service swiched onto enhanced patrolling  by order of the Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan.

The rescuers are conducting regular patrols and have established duty stations on several interstate roads across the republic. If necessary, the emergency points will be deployed in the most problematic areas to ensure prompt response, assist drivers and guarantee the safety of citizens.

For safety reasons, the Rescue Service urges drivers to travel only with winter tires, remain extra cautious and strictly adhere to traffic regulations.

As part of the enhanced service, the rescuers are cooperating with police patrols and are ready to assist citizens in distress.
