On August 30, 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA received emergency calls regarding incidents and accidents due to the heavy rain in the capital, in particular the vehicles had been stuck in rainwater and short circuits in electrical wires and flooding had occurred in Malatia-Sebastia and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan city.

The fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers carried out drainage activities from roads at various addresses using motor pumps, while at the same time removing vehicles stuck in rainwater.
