Earthquake hit 26 km north-east of Vardenis town

On August 10, at 23։11 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.25⁰N latitude and 46․02⁰E longitude on 26 km north-east of Vardenis town of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was V.

The intensity of the earthquake in Vardenis and Martuni towns, as well as in Sotk, Tsovak, Vardenik, Karchaghbyur, Tsovinar and Kut villages in Gegharkunik province in the epicenter was II-III.
