The units of the Rescue Service of the MIA were conducted large-scale public awareness activities throughout the Republic, reducing the risk of their spread and mitigating possible results aimed at preventing fires.

Particularly active awareness-raising activities were implemented in recreation and tourism zones, where the probability of fires occurring was higher due to the human factor. In these areas, awareness was implemented using loudspeakers and drones, posters on compliance with fire safety rules were posted, information leaflets were distributed and explanatory activities were conducted among citizens.

In these fire-prone days the rescuers and eco-guards were conducted joint monitoring within the framework of measures aimed at preventing fires in forested and vegetated areas.
