On February 5, a working group led by the Head of Ararat Regional Rescue Department conducted research in the territory of "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve.

The working group included the Director of "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve R. Oghikyan, the coordinator of the "Khosrov" section of Vayots Dzor and Ararat Regional Administration, Chief Eco-patrol A. Kocharyan, an employee of the Foundation for the preservation of wildlife and cultural assets M. Manukyan, as well as representatives from other relevant local authorities.

During the visit, the group assessed the accessibility of roads leading to the "Khachazor" section, identified the areas with the highest fire risk and focused on the territories of Vedi community and settlements adjacent to Khosrov Forest Reserve.

In addition to visual inspections, the area was studied and surveyed using an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) owned by "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve.

Following this, a working discussion took place  and a plan for preventive measures and actions for 2025 was developed, during which mapping was done. Special attention was given to ensuring fire safety regulations, as well as conducting continuous explanatory activity among the local population through educational and incentive programs.
