From July 1 to 11, the Syunik Regional Rescue Department organized and regularly conducted practical drills, awareness campaigns, and informational sessions aimed at improving rapid response skills to forest fires in woodland areas.

The drills involved employees from the Rescue Service and Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Eco-Patrol Service of the Ministry of Environment, as well as representatives from the Syunik Regional Administration and the Inspection Body for Environment and Subsoil Protection.

Such exercises contribute significantly to enhancing the level of fire safety preparedness.
