Personnel of the Psychological Assistance Division participated in a training on "Psychological Support for Personnel

From April 7 to 12, four rescuers (psychologists) from the Psychological Assistance Division of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in a 36-hour professional training on "Psychological Support for Personnel". The training was organized by the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center and held at the Saint-Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia.

During the training, the participants engaged in psychological and psychophysiological assessments within the context of professional selection, as well as in the development and application of relevant questionnaires and key tests. They also became familiar with the purpose and use of physical therapy and rehabilitation equipment.

Additionally, the psychologists were introduced to the specifics of a specialist’s psychological readiness in crisis situations and at incident sites, and were presented with practical experiences in providing psychological support.

At the end of the training, the participants from the Psychological Assistance Division of the Rescue Service were awarded certificates.
