More than 1700 rescuers and police officers had involved in the search operations in the Pambak River

On June 15, an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Operative Management Center that a child had fallen into the Pambak River on Arapnya Street in Vanadzor town: the rescuers' help was needed.
The fire and rescue units of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA immediately dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers alongside the police launched large-scale search and rescue operations, observation and reconnaissance operations along the entire Pambak River.
Another emergency call was received on the same day: two children, ages 7 and 13, had left an address on Narekatsi Street in Vanadzor and had not reached the intended destination.
The search opeartions was conducted for a week, on a daily basis, in difficult terrain, in conditions of strong water flow and low visibility.
1,093 rescuers, 626 police officers and volunteers participated in the search opeartions. The modern technical means were used: underwater video cameras and drones, boats and motorboats, which allowed for a wider observation throughout the entire operation.
On June 17, the dead body of Nare Martirosyan, born in 2018, was found about 500 meters from the alleged scene in the Pambak River. The servicemen continued the search for 13-year-old Narine Martirosyan in difficult and psychologically difficult conditions.
On June 22, at around 14:25, about 550 meters from the alleged scene, a rescue diver of the Rescue Service found her dead body.
The coordination of large-scale search operations reflects the high level of preparedness and effectiveness of cooperation of the services involved.
