According to the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Ministry of Environment in the daytime of April 23, strong winds are predicted in the mountainous areas of Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor at speeds of 18–22 m/s, and on April 24 in some areas at speeds of 23–26 m/s. 

In the daytime of April 24 and at night of April 25, intense precipitation is predicted in Shirak, Tavush and Lori provinces, predominantly in the form of snow in highland areas. 

A variable flow regime has been observed in the rivers.
