On December 12, at 14։53 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that explosion with fire had occurred in an iron diesel fuel drum-shaped tank (40 tons, empty) during welding in the former barn area of Norapat village of Armavir province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

One citizen was hospitalized to a medical center.

The fire was localized at 15:07, extinguished at 15:12. 15 running meters of electrical cable and electrical tools were burnt, the lower part of one cylinder was damaged, 3 drum-shaped tanks were heat-damaged.

The firefighters performed cooling operations, preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent cylinder cylinders.
