On February 28, at 16:55 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a gas cylinder in a car had exploded at a car service station on Noragavit 1st Street in Yerevan city: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that gas accumulation occurred in “Mitsubishi” car at a car service station on Noragavit 1st Street, resulting in an explosion.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver was hospitalized to medical center.

The front and side windows of two parked “BMW” cars and the windows of the car service station were damaged.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of “Mitsubishi” car.
