The process of improving the professional knowledge and assessing the capabilities of rescuers is a priority for the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service, in order to reduce disaster risks, as well as effectively overcome the consequences of emergency situations, held another qualification process for rescuers in Vayots Dzor Province.

The rescuers of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department had passed the relevant stages of qualification, demonstrating a high level of professional training.

The volunteers of the Volunteer Fire and Rescue bases operating in Khachik and Martiros settlements, recognized for their vital role in ensuring rapid community response, were also included in the qualification process. The latter were assessed according to professional standards and were awarded the “Rescuer” qualification, reaffirming their willingness and ability to support specialized services if needed.

Such initiatives once again highlight the Rescue Service commitment to continuously strengthening human resources, promoting professional development and enhancing the system with effective evaluation mechanisms.
