On February 1, at 08։40 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that rock fall had occurred from the Herher village crossroads to the Jermuk crossroads on Yerevan-Meghri roadway: the roadway was one-way closed.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a rock fall occurred at the 145th km of the Yerevan-Meghri roadway: the roadway was one-way closed.

The rescuers removed the rocks from the roadway: traffic flow was restored.
