The Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, accompanied by the Director of RA- Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan, got acquainted with the new fire and rescue equipment provided to the Service. The Minister was also presented with the full range of fire and rescue equipment, special equipment and technical means.

For the needs of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 8 fire and rescue vehicles and 10 vehicles intended for implementing the service domestic calls were purchased, which will be provided to the regional subdivisions of the Rescue Service.

The Minister highlighted a high level of technical equipment and the training of employees were an important condition for ensuring the lives and safety of citizens, as well as for effectively responding to emergency situations, as well as noted that activities on modernizing the material and technical base of the Rescue Service will be ongoing.
