Ensuring citizen safety requires continuous investments and modern solutions. In this context, technical re-equipment was regularly implemented in the services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Rescue Service was replenished with new generation ATVs and fire-rescue vehicles. 8 fire and rescue vehicles purchased for the needs of the service and 10 vehicles intended for servicing domestic calls had already been provided to the territorial divisions.

According to the RA Deputy Director Tigran Petrosyan ATVs and fire-rescue vehicles that meet modern standards will enable a faster and more efficient response to emergency calls.

"Three investment programs were presented within the framework of the first of which in 2025, in two stages, fire-rescue and rapid response vehicles were purchased. About 640 million drams were purchased from the state budget. This is another important achievement of the Rescue Service. The Rescue Forces Department will organize appropriate training courses for drivers and personnel, only after the completion of which the purchased vehicles will be put into unit service", noted Tigran Petrosyan.

The ATVs are multifunctional, equipped with a pillar fire hydrant, which allows not only to effectively serve domestic calls, but also to carry out large-scale fire extinguishing, including in difficult-to-pass areas.

“The vehicles have a capacity of 3,500 liters of water and 1,500 liters of foam fluid. They are equipped with appropriate equipment for the necessary response. And the rapid response vehicles are equipped with a capacity of 250 liters of water and 25 liters of foam fluid”, said Head of the Fire and Rescue Training Department Garegin Safaryan.

Technical equipment in accordance with modern standards will allow improving the quality and efficiency of the services provided.

The measures implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to modernize the technical base and capabilities building of the personnel are ongoing.
