Lovely citizens, dear colleagues,

I congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year and the bright holidays of Christmas.

2024 was filled with both achievements and challenges. It was truly an important period for continuing the comprehensive reforms we have undertaken, strengthening public trust by improving the tools for providing high-quality service to citizens, ensuring public order and achieving progress in the fight against crime. In terms of implementing our ambitious plans, both our own and international surveys confirm that the level of public trust in our activity had grown, which is not only encouraging but also highly motivating.

We have entered a phase of modernization and deep institutional reforms: this path is not easy and it cannot be. Our successes and shortcomings are the levels by which we ascend toward development and progress.

Certainly, there were shortcomings and gaps in the past year, which were to initiate correcting on our own and this will always be the case, because for our achievements have to will and determination to identify shortcomings, eliminate them and rectify failures. In this regard, we consistently inventory various issues, which are at the forefront of our efforts to address and resolve systematically. We are committed to continuing the reforms we have undertaken, strengthening our internal security and ensuring public order of the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been operating in its current structure for two years. The ongoing phase of reforms is being implemented and will continue to be based on the strong traditions, drawing any possible positives from the past, honoring the contributions of our senior generation and veterans, yet always keeping our focus on progress and development.

In fulfilling our complex mission, we also face losses, the most painful of which are human lives. Let us always cherish the memory of those who gave their lives for this mission. Glory to them!

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is a main institution responsible for the stability and internal security of the state and always ready to fulfill its mission with honor. However, the realization of this greatly depends on peace and the Government is sparing no effort to bring it to fruition.

I am confident that in the coming year, we will continue the consistent implementation of reforms in all key fields with the same dedication, readiness and determination. With the same sense of responsibility, we will carry on fulfilling the tasks set forth by the RA Government and providing full service to our society.

Let’s 2025 to be a year of peace, stable development for our country, new achievements and opportunities.
