Minibus collides with gas pipeline: there were casualties

On May 4, at 09:55 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on Dzagavank Street in Arinj village of Kotayk province, there were casualties: there was a fuel leak.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “GAZelle” minibus serving route No. 48 crashed into a gas pipeline. There were casualties.

One casualty received appropriate medical care on the spot. There was no need for hospitalization.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the minibus, as well as moved five casualties to an ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized at a medical center.
