July 30 • 07:39, 2025

According to the directive of Kamo Tsutsulyan, Director of the Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, measures continue for the constant monitoring of potential fire-hazardous situations in forests and vegetated areas, prevention of fires, rapid response, firefighting, containment of fire spread, and elimination of their consequences.

As of July 30, a total of 2502 rescue service personnel have been involved in the public awareness campaign across the entire territory of the Republic.

Rescue service units have carried out awareness activities in 5574 sites across the capital and regions, including public places and forest-adjacent areas, using loudspeakers and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).

In crowded places, 9088 posters have been posted and 3289 flyers distributed to promote compliance with fire safety regulations.

At the same time, to ensure rapid response to possible fires in public recreational areas and forest-adjacent zones, 281 fire units have been on duty at designated locations, mainly involving all-terrain vehicles.

With joint efforts of rescue personnel and eco-petrol service, continuous fire hazard monitoring has been carried out in forested and vegetated areas.

Dear citizens, we urge you to observe fire safety rules, remain vigilant, and act responsibly. Even the smallest negligence can lead to large-scale fires.

In case of any situation posing a fire hazard, immediately call the emergency number 911.
