On March 10, at 15:36 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire at the beginning of Khashtarak village.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department, three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and one water tank from Azatamut emergency point of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Taush Preservation of Special Objects of the Collective Center of the Civil Protection Forces of the Civil Protection Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that fire broke out in the neighboring field called "Nrnuti yal" in Khashtarak village.

The fire was localized at 17:00 and extinguished at 18:03. 130 logs, brushwood and grass of the unexploited railway were burnt.

Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to Khashtarak village.
