Kamo Tsutsulyan and Vyacheslav Butko attended the demonstration exercise with various emergency scenarios

On May 20, an exercise was held at the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the center's operations.

Among those present were the Director of RS- the Deputy Minister of IA, as well as Co-Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Center Kamo Tsutsulyan, the Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Vyacheslav Butko alongside the representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and invited guests.

Kamo Tsutsulyan and Vyacheslav Butko toured the operations management division, where they were introduced to the center’s technical equipment, rapid response capabilities and innovative solutions.

The demonstration exercise featured various emergency scenarios: car accident, explosion, fire, building blockade, mine clearance, rock-fall and so on.

The rescue squads promptly extinguished the fire, evacuated the casualties using rope equipment and demonstrated climbing skills in high-altitude areas, demonstrating a quick and coordinated response.

A first aid demonstration exercise was conducted by the 911 service personnel. A simulation of transporting a casualty in need of inpatient medical care by helicopter was also conducted.

The center’s fleet of vehicles used in emergency situations was displayed: fire and rescue, water and rescue, 911 first aid and other specialized vehicles.

Kamo Tsutsulyan and Vyacheslav Butko highly appreciated the center’s activities, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, accumulated experience and an effective response system.
