Issues of increasing resilience, disaster analysis and organizing exercises were discussed: Kamo Tsutsulyan received Michael Venerdi

On January 22, the Director of RS-Deputy Minister of IA, Kamo Tsutulyan met with a delegation led by the Commander of Kansas National Guard of USA, Major General Michael Venerdi.

The RS Director expressed his gratitude to the U.S. government for its continuous support, emphasizing the effective cooperation between the Rescue Service and the Kansas National Guard. Kamo Tsutulyan highlighted the success of joint training exercises, the priorities of disaster risk management strategies and the improvement of crisis communication. He stressed the importance of active collaboration with international partners during the risk and disaster management phases. 

The Commander of the Kansas National Guard underscored the value of open communication with partners, noting that the cooperation had continually enhanced the capabilities of the National Guard personnel. Regarding the Actions of the Disaster Management Crisis Center, Michael Venerdi shared his own experience in responding to emergencies and coordinating measures. The discussion also covered topics such as resilience building, disaster analysis and organizing, as well as conducting exercises. 

Both sides expressed their willingness to continue and expand the cooperation.
