On February 26, the Director of the Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Kamo Tsutsulyan, met with the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, Chen Ming.

The interlocutors touched upon the importance of strengthening cooperation in the fields of population protection in emergencies and disaster risk management and emphasized the need to take specific steps toward the planned joint activities.

Discussions covered issues related to disaster risk management, enhancing cooperation, and experience exchange between the Rescue Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Civil  Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

The parties agreed to continue their collaboration to strengthen the resilience and improve effective.
