On August 28, at 06:47 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that smoke had been seen from an apartment on the 3rd floor 1 Soghomon Tarontsi Street of Yerevan city.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in the entrance of the 3rd floor of the building. 

The fire was localized at 07:05, extinguished at 07:15. The sofa, 15 running meters of cable was burnt and 15 electric meters were damaged.

The rescuers evacuated 30 citizens from the building. The emergency medical technicians provided appropriate medical care to two citizens on the spot.
