On August 12, International Youth Day was celebrated around the world, including in Armenia, with a range of events reflecting the day’s significance. As part of these events, the regional departments of the Rescue Service of RA MIA organized and held meaningful and inspiring activities highlighting the value of the profession of rescuer aimed at raising awareness among young people and encouraging their involvement.

The visits held in different regions gave pupils and young people the opportunity to engage directly with rescuers, learn about their challenging yet honorable activity, explore firefighting and rescue equipment, as well as gain insight into the operation of crisis management centers.
Young participants had the chance to observe firefighting and rescue operations in action, explore the capabilities of various technical tools and understand the importance of teamwork in rescue missions.

These events were not only informative but also inspiring. The initiative reflects the s strong commitment of the Rescue Service to working with youth helping guide their career paths, sharing valuable knowledge, and uncovering their potential.

Youth are our future and the ideal role of the rescuer is a guide to courage, responsibility and dedication.
