The fire spread mainly to the grasslands. There were no large number of trees were burnt in the area: the heat-damaged trees was recorded.

In total, 669 rescuers, 215 eco-patrol service officers and local residents are involved in the firefighting operations. 22 helicopter flights were implemented daily by the RA Ministry of Defense to support the firefighting operations and aerial reconnaissance of the area.
