Increasing the population preparedness for preventing fires and reducing their results in border communities

The events organized by the Rescue Service were of particular importance in preventing fires and reducing their resultes. Such initiatives contribute to raising the population awareness, teach them to respond correctly and quickly in emergency situations.

In March, Azatamut Special Object Protection Fire and Rescue Group of Fire and Rescue Squad of Taush Preservation of Special Objects of the Collective Center of Civil Defense Forces of the Population Protection and Civil Defense Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA organized and conducted a special tactical exercise on "Implementation of firefighting and evacuation operations, providing first aid to the injured and taking them to a safe area" at Azatamut Cultural Center.

The similar exercise was also conducted by Kot Special Object Protection Fire and Rescue Group of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Noyemberyan Preservation of Special Objects at Kot Cultural Center.

During the training, a simulated fire was conducted, followed by an operational response: firefighting operations using appropriate means, search and identification of casualties, evacuation operations, first aid and transportation of casualties to a safe area.

A total of about 80 participants from border settlements were involved in the training.
