The training on "Initial mountain training up to and including the 3rd category of mountaineering" organized by the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center was held at Aragats Fire and Rescue Squad of Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA on October 13-17. The purpose of the event was to increase the level of professional training of the rescuers of the regional department during the activities in mountainous conditions.

The training consisted of theoretical and practical parts. During the five-day training, rescuers were equipped with the necessary skills, which were important for effective response to emergency situations in mountainous conditions.

The rescuers acquired the skills to examine casualties in the mountains, provide first aid and move to a safe area through difficult-to-reach mountainous terrain without the use of special equipment.

The participants of the training were awarded certificates.
