The training on “Rescue operations during road traffic accidents” was held from October 6 to 9 at Dilijan Fire and Rescue Squad of Tavush Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized by the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center.

The purpose of the training was to improve the professional skills of the rescuers during road traffic accidents and introduce them to innovative methods.

The participants of the training had the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they had gained in practice. Particularly, the most complex road accidents and their consequences, the removal of casualties from the car using rescue equipment and other situational scenarios were played out.

Thanks to such training, the rescuers not only acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills, but also develop confidence, which was of essential importance in quickly responding to road traffic accidents and saving human lives.
