An exercise on “Organization and implementation of protection of employees and patients receiving hospital treatment in case of an earthquake” was held on September 16 at “Hrazdan Medical Center” In cooperation with Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA, Hrazdan Fire and Rescue Squad and Hrazdan Community Police Department.

The purpose of the training process was to improve the organizational capabilities of the management team, the theoretical and practical training of professional formations in case of a possible strong earthquake, as well as to check the applicability of the medical center evacuation plan. 

The exercise once again proved that such events coordinated by the Rescue Service were important for the preparedness of medical institutions and other facilities in emergency situations.

The Rescue Service played a key role in the organization and coordination of such exercises, ensuring a professional approach, clarity of interaction and opportunities for an operational response to emergency situations.

Such events are ongoing and are an important prerequisite for emergency preparedness and developing cooperation.
